Good defensive work and goaltending by Jeff Harrison of Remax and Steven Schewaga of Davids prevented any scoring un- til late in the first period when Remax's Trevor Barr scored with the assist to Grant Hooker. With 20 seconds left in the period, David's tied the score on a goal by Joel Phoenix assisted by Ken Ellis. Davids went ahead early in the second as Joel Phoenix scored unassisted. Remax tied it up when Ryan Haslam scored unassisted and then went ahead when Mike Lefort passed to Russ Brown who netted one with a good shot. Davids tried hard in the third but could not score on several good chances. It looked like it was all over for Davids when they took a penalty with two minutes re- maining. On the next face-off in the Remax end, Davids pulled their goalie and went with Tive skaters. .Remax had the empty net in their sights when Wade Ritchie stole the puck at his blue line and took off with two wingers on a three on nothing break. With just seven seconds left Wade blasted the punch into the top corner to tie the score at three. Thank-you, guys and girls for a fantastic game. Labanovich.
