Sorry that there was no news last week, John, the kids and I were at the cottage. Snowmobil- ing was great. Just ask Elizabeth about muddy spots. I would like to thank all those great looking shepherds, kings and angels that helped with the Cantata at the United Church. I would especially like to thank Jeff and Jon Jamieson for looking after the small shepherds and Heather Bredin who looked after the two most beautiful angels that I have ever seen - Meegan and Jena. Heather carried it a bit too far though. It wasn't necessary to have that ghostly white face to 'match her angel outfit. Les and Grace Beacock enjoyed a special day with family at her son Grant Beacock in Oshawa. Sandy and Irene Moore spent some special time with the Don Swain's of Blackstock at the home of their daughter Mrs. Larry Ashton of Oshawa. I hear that Charlie Clarke is celebrating his 90th birthday next week. We all enjoyed Charlie's sermon a few weeks ago. So- meone should find out his secret for the long good life he is leading. There are also some very belated birthdays. We wish hap- py returns to Florence Smith, Helen Wolsney, Grace Beacock and our former minister Rev. R. Brawn of Hamilton. Sandy Moore also has a birthday around this time. I think around Jan. 7th. John and Diana Brough spent some time with us at the cottage. We enjoyed the visit and the kids enjoyed learning some Nintendo . secrets from Kyle. Les and Grace Beacock spent some time with their son don at Grace's sister the Durths of Oshawa. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gibson formerly of Prince Albert were visiting several local friends in the area. The Gibsons now live in Coboconk. D.J.
