The annual meeting is on February 3rd. There were 16 tables of euchre played on Friday evening in the Hall. Winners were Ladies 1st Ruth Beach, 2nd Jean Hodgins and 3rd Velma Ross. Winners for the Men were 1st Nelson Cole, 2nd Rita Parratt and 3rd Irwin Kydd. Freeze-out winners were Hilda Hopkins and Jean Johnson, Grace Bassant and Elsie Pogue were se- cond. Draws were won by Verna Slute, Dorothy Bray and Doris Evans. I noticed some of our Universi- ty students home over the holidays, just to mention a tew that I saw. Visitors at the Hillis Wilbur home over the holidays were Dot and Roy Hooker and girls of Greenbank. Their family, Scott and Sherry of Caven, Todd and Caroline of Port Perry, Lee, Lisa Lown of Port Perry, were all home for Christmas. The new Year's Eve dance held at the Community Hall was very successful, thanks to all who par- ticipated in any way. It was a very enjoyable crowd of dancers.
