Scugog Island news From Page 19 Moms and dads don't forget the Valentine Party at 2 to 4 p.m. to be shared with your pre-schoolers and babies. This should be quite lively. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Clare Fralick who were married on Saturday at 4 p.m. in the Island United Church by Rev. David Shepherd. Busy weekend for the Island's Scouting Group (2nd Scugog). On Friday evening, February 8, the leaders and Cubs made their way to Camp Samac. 11 boys, 2 leaders and 1 group committee member enjoyed a weekend of working on the black and red stars which involves nature (birds) and physical fitness. The camp was a great success and we understand that the leaders are recuperating. They received Training Recognition Certificates for this intense 8 hour course. This course was attended by six districts.
