Congratulations to Doreen and Gordon Beare on the celebration of their 50th Wedding Anniver- sary from all their friends on R.R. 4, Uxbridge. Vocation Bible School had another successful term. There were 32 children present. They were studying the seven days of creation. The first day they made kites to represent the sky. Next they painted flower pots and planted seed. (The beginning of the garden of Eden). Then they had a session painting a mural of ; the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve were made of gingerbread, and believe it or not on the last day they made ice cream just for fun. The Munro families were very busy folks last week. A cousin of Ray's from California, Marjorie Munro Dyke and her daughter Michelle visited Dorothy and Ray for 10 busy days. They visited so many interesting places in this part of Ontario. Ms. Kempston Darkes has also been elected to the GM of Canada board of directors. Ms. Kempston Darkes joined the GM of Canada legal staff in 1975 and became assistant counsel in 1979.
