Hilda and Ed Michell celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at their home on Stephenson's Point Road, Scugog Island on Sept. 5. Strawberry Threads opened its doors to the public on Thursday last week in the building formerly operated by Clark's Country Cupboard. The store is operated by Mary Hogg. The Aztecs nipped the Flames 1-0 in the third and deciding game of the Port Perry Ball Hockey Association final last week. The Little Britain Merchants have announced that Keith W. Archer will coach the Junior C team in the up-coming season.
