"A Family Tradition for 125 Years" PORT PERRY STAR - Tuesday, September 10,1991 - 11 Laura Kim Taylor Olga & Fred Churchill are proud to announce the graduation of their daughter from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Sociology. Laura is now continuing her studies at Queen's University in law. 7A Hwy. problems From Page 1 cant parcel of land immediately adjacent to the north side of the roadway. This would have to be negotiated with the Ministry of Transportation as the town- ship does not own the land. The township is presently ne- gotiating a cost sharing scheme with the ministry. Council is also concerned with the high traffic flow around the Port Perry Plaza at Highway 7A and Water Street, particularly on Saturdays. Al though there is a police officer . controlling traffic on the week- end, council would like to see a traffic light installed at that lo- cation. Mayor Hall says these issues and a number of other concerns will be discussed when the min- ister makes his visit. Mayor Hall was unable to say when the minister was planning to come. According to Mayor Hall the visit will allow the minister to get a better understanding of the situation by seeing the area, and the problems in- volved firsthand.
