"A Family Tradition for 125 Years" ATV Show to be held this weekend Snowmobile and ATV enthu- siasts from all over Ontario are eagerly anticipating the open- ing of the Toronto Internation- al Snowmobile and ATV Show on Friday, Sept. 20. The show officially opens the 1992 season when major Onta- rio Dealers unveil the new product lines from Arctic Cat, olaris, Ski-doo, Yamaha, Hon- da and Suzuki. Giant displays showcasing all of these exciting roducts set the scene for the argest, most exciting show of its kind presented in Canada. The Show runs for three days and will be held at the Metro East Trade Centre's new Show Building in Pickering, Ontario. This year over 125 skaters took part, in- cluding a team of ringette and atom players. - Now the regular winter season classes are almost ready to begin. This years classes include classes for pre-schoolers, power skaters and adults. The adult classes begin on October 1, with all other classes beginning during the week of October 8th. Kiddy Kapers is a learn-to- skate program for 3-6 year olds. This program teaches the fun- damentals of skating in a fun at- mosphere. Two classes are available: Wednesday mornings from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., and Tues- day afternoons from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. These classes are taught by Michael Sanderson and Hilary Simpson. ) Two power skating sessions are available. Tuesday afternoons from 4-4:30 p.m. is for skaters 5-10 years of age. The early morning session is on Wednesdays from 7:15 to 8:15 a.m. Both of these ses- sions are coached' by Michael Sanderson. The Adult Recreational Skating program meets twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10 to 11 a.m. This is also coached by Michael Sanderson and Hilary Simpson.
