The re- enactment team demonstrated camping techniques used in the year 1812, including period cooking. Pictured above, members of the group fire their 75-calibre muskets. The miniatures are the work of Seagrave-area resident William Earle. RE EE The York-Durham Heritage Railway Association went full steam ahead at Fall Harvest Days. The association set up a miniature railroad and offered youngsters an opportunity to ride the rails -- free of charge. The association was accept- ing donations. The money will be used, in part, to establish a museum of railway memorabilia and equipment in Ux- bridge. Y-DHRA also hopes to develop a tourist train service along the scenic Toronto and Nipissing Railway line, from Stouffville to Uxbridge, Blackwater Jct. and eventually to Lindsay. .
