"A Family Tradition for 125 Years" PORT PERRY STAR - Wednesday, October 16 1991 - 11 LeFort will seek new elementary school site in Scugog Township By Kelly Lown Finding a site for a new ele- mentary school in Scugog Township, and a permanent school site in Brock Township will be two of Kathy LeFort's priorities if she is elected in the Nov.12 election. Mrs. LeFort is seeking a sec- ond term as separate school board trustee for Scugog, Brock and Uxbridge Townships. Before moving up to trustee in the last election, Mrs. LeFort spent six years on the Parents Advisory Committee of Immac- ulate Conception School. Currently she is the chair- man of the property and trans- portation committee, a member of the priorities and policies committee and a member of CUPE (custodian, secretary, educational assistant) nego- tiating team. One of her greatest accom- plishments during her first term was working with Brock Township to establish the Holy Family Catholic School.
