Dave Gainey, Brad Monsma one goal each. Port finished off the week- end with a legue game in Om- emee. This powerful team proved to be a challenge from the start. However the play was back and forth giving both teams chances to score, but it was Omemee who got the go- ahead goal on a deflection off a Port stick. Lady Luck could not be found as Omemee con- tinued to lite the scoreboard. Port answered back, with a goal midway through the sec- ond period, closing the gap Just slightly. The third period belonged to Omemee as Pats skates were losing ground and in the dying minutes of the game, Omemee guaranteed the win with a couple of quick goals. Goal tenders Jon Chambers and Shane Savage were called upon frequently as Omemee applied pressure at every turn. Scoring for Port in this game was Greg Burton, unas- sisted. The Pineridge boys will practise later this week as they prepare for a weekend tournament in Oakwood. \ Community News Ideas?
