A variety of Durham Region’s finest farms will be show- cased for visitors near and far. From milking a goat to shearing sheep, guests will have the opportunity to learn about what makes Durham Region a choice area for agriculture. Gates Open brings the family to the farm in an adventure that covers all local eight area municipalities. Along the route, guests are invited to sample local foods prepared by a number of Durham Region’s best local chefs at participating farms and restaurants.
