Seu NSO Local wildlife artist Adam Con- FES el TREES ARE GROWING AT THE KENT FARNDALE GALLERY = Scene BY JONATHAN VAN BILSEN nolly has taken a different ap- proach to art by creating magnifi- cent sculptures from found wood, which includes trees that would otherwise be removed. He will be exhibiting his work in the Kent Farndale Gallery from October 4 to 30. Connolly loves the inspiration, creative lines, texture and memo- ries that can only be found in the natural wood source. Born in Nova Scotia in 1964, he has been intrigued by Mother Nature since his early childhood and has spent much of his youth closely studying her forms and lines. It was his love of nature that propelled Adam to earn his degree in Fish and Wildlife Management at Sir Sandford Flem- ing College in Lindsay, Ontario and learn more about the physical anatomy of wildlife. Join Adam at the opening recep- tion in the Kent Farndale Gallery this Thursday from | to 4 p.m. Adam Connolly with ‘Scout’.
