Originally presented on television in 1957, Cinderella was the most widely viewed program in the history of the medium. Now adapted for stage with great warmth and more than a touch of hilarity the hearts of children and adults alike still soar when the slipper fits. ‘he curtains open this November to Cinderella as the Scugog Choral Society begins its 34th season. Already cast and with rehearsals underway, SCS will bring Cinderella, her ugly step-sisters and a cast of forty- some others to the stage to present Rodgers & Hammer- stein’s classic production. In April 2010, the Scugog Choral Society will bring a different group of ‘sisters’ to the stage in Nunsensations, the fifth in the “Nunsense” series. Cinderella will grace the stage of Town Hall 1873 from November 19 to 21, 26 to 28 and December 3 to 5.
