Changing Faces! ‘he past month has brought a number of chang- es to the business community in and around 7 Port Perry... with expansions, relocations and new openings taking place. For starters, Terry Landry of F.M. Finds has relo- cated, moving her shop from Queen Street Commons west along the main drag to 237 Queen St., the building formerly occupied by The Framer’s Gallery. F.M. Finds is a retailer of country inspired decor and more. Another business which has recently relocated is the Port Perry Wellness Centre which has moved from its former home at 6 High Street to 16007 Simcoe St. at the northern edge of Port Perry. After being closed up for a short time, the former Country Style Donuts location at 1812 Scugog St. (7A Hwy.), has a new tenant. A restaurant called Halibut Time Fish & Chips has been opened by Andy Nitsa, who oper- ated a similar establishment in the Whitby area. Pickles & Olives, the popular little bistro nestled into the corner at 110 Water St., (at Casimir St.), is expanding it's cramped but comfortable setting. We're sure patrons of this quaint little eatery will be happy to see more seats added when the work is completed. We see the windows of the Little Monogram Shop, located at 155 Queen St., have been covered over with paper for some time now and the store is closed. Renovations appear to be underway in the former Little Mongram Shop at 155 Queen St. Sandra Millar of Seagrave will be opening “The Christmas Nook” in early October, featuring personalized ornaments, festive table- ware and more to deck your halls this Christmas. Finds store at 237 Queen St. The Cuddly Bunny will be hopping out of their pres- ent location at 158 Water St. and setting up shop in space vacated recently by EM. Finds at Queen Street Commons. Owner Marnie Scott expects to open in her new location early in October. Heading north out of town, we see best selling author and fitness expert Crystal Andrus has opened a “Retreat Centre” offering daily fitness classes in the Greenbank Hall in... you guessed it, Greenbank! It appears there’s lots of activity in the business district as we enter the fall and (hate to say it) Christmas seasons, so we'll keep our eyes and ears open for more changes in the coming months and let you know.
