Ride for Dad - June 19 While Port Perry won’t be a stop over for this year’s Durham Region Ride For Dad, the annual run which attracts more than 300 motorcycle riders from all over Durham Region will skirt the town and make a stop near Blackstock. The ride is held to bring attention to, and raise funds for, prostate cancer and will be held this year on Satur- day, June 19 starting at 609 Victoria St. in Whitby. run continues north along scenic country roads to Beaverton before returning along Hwy. 12 to Reach St. and into Port Perry.
