This enables them to use some steam locomotives along with the newer diesels. They incorporate both Canadian National (CNR) and Canadian Pacific (CPR) designs in their layout. The club has specialized in HO scale; (1:72) The modellers have also incorpo- rated some Port Perry items in the dis- play including a scale model of Scugog Lumber and a number of trucks with the Scugog Lumber Company decals and logos, microscopically applied. Last year over 300 visitors attended the show. There is no entrance fee but visitors are encouraged to make a dona- tion to the group to help pay for their costs. This year the Model Railway show will be held again in Port Perry in the Oddfellows Hall on Simcoe Street just south of MacDonalds. This will be on Sunday, June 12 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The members are looking forward to welcoming anyone interested to view numerous locomotives in operation pulling a variety of cargo and passen- ger trains. They are always enthusiastic about explaining the intricacies of model railroading to young and old alike. Be careful, you might become addicted too.
