looking back! ( nestleton general store about 1909 This post card photograph shows Veale’s General Store (lefc) at Nestleton Station around the turn of the century. The picture is taken facing west along a dirt road that is today known as 7A Highway. utica general store of the 1930s The girls of the Utica Bluebird Club are seen in this picture stand- ing in front of the Utica ‘Red & White’ store during the summer of 1937. The store was owned by Charles W. Lackey at this time and a number of men can be seen stand- ing around outside the store. This is a rare picture of the front of the Utica store from that era. Dp, seagrave ocean house and general store 1900 The Ocean House Hotel, Seagrave was a very important and busy place during the late 1800s, providing all the necessities for travellers and local patrons. This picture, shows the south side of the hotel near the corner of River and Simcoe St., with the Seagrave General store in the distance.
