The picture is taken facing west along a dirt road that is today known as 7A Highway. utica general store of the 1930s The girls of the Utica Bluebird Club are seen in this picture stand- ing in front of the Utica ‘Red & White’ store during the summer of 1937. The store was owned by Charles W. Lackey at this time and a number of men can be seen stand- ing around outside the store. This is a rare picture of the front of the Utica store from that era.
