Mom and Dad can be assured you will be having fun and maybe learning something, and you will be able to try your hand at something unique and unusual. No school for a week and a lot of choices to make your March Break exciting. What could be better? First up: the library Let's check out Scugog Library's offerings. March 15th is Crazy Science for budding scientists, where you Kids of all ages anticipate | Jots of fun this March Break at the Library. can participate in many experi- ments and even get projects to take home. Local photographer Jonathan van Bilsen will once again run his successful three day photographic workshop for 8 to 12 year olds. If you are in a learning mode there is a cartooning workshop where you learn to draw your favourite cartoon characters or create new ones. Also on offer is a movie make-up workshop which will teach you how to make monster make-up effects. If fun is all you are in the mood for, there is everything from scav- enger hunts to board games, an egg drop challenge, Wii, XBOX 360 video ames and of course, as always, lots of great books to get lost in. At the arena, Monday through Friday, you can take part in Superhero Day, Campers in Disguise as Secret Spies, Campers in the Kitchen, Day Camp Explosion & Wacky Hair Day or Creative Campers. If none of those appeal, why not look into Sports of All Sorts, Drama in a Day & Crazy Hat Day, NEBS Fun World, PJ Day or Culinary Creations. If you want to be busy all day, every day, try Discovery Camp for age’s three to twelve, single day cost $31.00 or the full week for $105.00. Adventure Camp is also offered for age’s six through twelve, single cost per day $35.00 or full week for $135.00. All these activities take place at the Scugog Community Centre.
