Sneezy Waters headlining Greenbank 20th season opener Greenbank Folk Music Society (GFMS) will present one of Canada’s most legendary performers, on Satur- day, October 13, when Sneezy Waters will present a concert at the Greenbank Folk Music Society. Showtime: 8 PM. Joining Sneezy will be long time friend and guitarist, Vince Halfhide. Legendary Ott ‘based artist Sneezy Waters grew up in a musical family. From 1977 until 1990, Sneezy starred in the play “Hank Williams: The Show He Never Gave”, which garnered excellent reviews. In a subse- quent film version, Sneezy won a Best Actor award. Vince Halfhide has performed with Sneezy Waters for almost four decades, playing on several of Sneezy’s records. His wide ranging musical vocabulary is a great fit with Sneezy’s artistry. GFMS is a volunteer, non-profit group dedicated to bringing the best Canadian roots music to North Dur- ham since 1993. The season consists of monthly concerts October to May, in Greenbank Centennial Hall.
