Current owners of the home are Greg and Sandy Weeks. 14 FOCUS - FEBRUARY 2014 The Utica Memory Hall, above, was built in 1899 by Thomas H. Hom, a former village resident, as a gift to the community in which he grew up. The hall, which was the centrepiece of the community, was destroyed by fire on April 9, 1956. About 2.5 years after the devastat- ing fire, a new Memory Hall was built and it was officially opened on October 25, 1957. This hall, left, still serves the Utica community to this day.
