Miss 'Leanne Munro is now in Texas where she has accepted a position in a hospital there. Her sister Heather accompanied her but will stay only for a short holiday. Dorothy and Ray Munro took a trip into Northern Ontario. They were guests on New Year's Day with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ross of Cochrane. Dr. Asling was pleased to visit with so many friends at the open house held in her honor on New Year's Day at the home of her sister Mrs. Keith Ashton. There are 11 small children near where I live and some of them have been having a wonder- ful time on the rink John Hansen made for them. Garth and Tina Wilson also are prow to announce the birth of eir first grandson born in Tren- ton. His name is Zachari David Field. Earl and Elizabeth Taylor were in London recently for the Bap- tism of their new granddaughter. Caroline is the daughter of John and Wendy Taylor. Earl and Marie Wilson were supper guests with Marlene and Ian Archibald and family on Sunday. Jan. 22 - Women's Institute will go to the library then to the home of Doreen Brethour.
