yey Consumers who opt for cheap furnace mainte- nance work this year may be playing with fire, say experts at Ontario's Consumer Ministry. "By hiring the first person who offers to in- spect their furnace, con- sumers can lose more than money. They may compromise their fami- lies safety, too," says John Gerdels, acting di- rector of the ministry's Fuels Safety Branch.
