Peter Hvidsten Port Perry Star The Port Perry "Hospital Watch" program was officially kicked off Monday morning in the library at Community Memorial Hospital. The program, which is de- scribed as being a strategy aimed at reducing crime, improving safety and heightening loss pre- vention awareness within the hospital, is very similar to the successful Neighborhood Watch Program. During a brief ceremony, Mrs. Connie Jamieson, manager of personnel service, welcomed members of the hospital staff and visiting dignitaries and thank everyone for their support and co- operation in organizing the local Hospital Watch. Mayor Howard Hall of Scugog Township said he had attended the Regional Kick Off of Hospital Watch in Whitby last week, and he congratulated the Durham Regional Police for their support. eo Remote Control | |® On-Screen Graphics e Video Il Plus Descrambler Board e Parental Control Lockout ESR 1124 Features ONLY PIER INSTALLED WINEGARD \M\)\ > SATELLITE SYSTEMS | ¥ In Touch with Tomorrow TOSHIBA = J TV's & VCR's only He also had words of praise for Mrs. Jamieson, for the time and effort she has devoted to getting the program underway.
