Chantal Belanger, Jennifer Byers, Jill Van Camp, Lisa Gil- bank and Stacey Swain, all of Blackstock and Sharlene Kyte, of Port Perry, were presented with the award by the Honora- ble Henry Jackman, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario at Queen's Park. The celebrations started with mass at 6 p.m. at St. Marys of the People Church in Oshawa followed by supper in the audi- torium. The event was attended by approximately 150 people consisting of C.W.L. members and Spiritual Directors from each parish in the Durham Re- gion. Honorable mention was given to all past Chairpersons and highlights of each term were presented. Entertainment was provided by local guitarist and vocalist Larry Hachey.
