Mrs. Stafford is the host of CKVR Television's popular day- time talk shows "Good Compa- ny" and "Summer Scene." She was in the area Wednes- day evening talking to the Scu- gog Women group about being the best one could be. Self esteem is the most impor- tant thing a person can have, she said. And although she has a feeling of self worth now, that wasn't always the case. "If you rated self esteem on a scale from one to 10,1 was nega- tive five," Mrs. Stafford said. Always eager to take on new challenges, Mrs. Stafford is learning how to play the piano, tole paint and ski. She is also a qualified fitness instructor and teaches a weekly class. Mrs. Stafford is a volunteer member of the Royal Victoria Hospital Auxiliary and visits the hospital weekly, spending time on the long-term care ward and visiting and feeding the pa- tients. She also enjoys riding and showing her horses. In her spare time she works for Mary Kay Cosmetics as a senior consultant.
