Rob was born in Uxbridge on June 7, 1958 and attended pub- lic school in Epsom and Port Perry High School. Rob will be remembered as an excellent craftsman, a carpen- ter and cabinetmaker who did a lot of work in the local area. Left to mourn the loss of a lov- ing husband and son are his wife Judy Allen and parents Al- len and Norine Card of R.R. 1, Port Perry. Rob will be missed by Judy's daughters Donette and her husband Steve Gordon and Heather Grody and two granddaughters Arin and Am- ber Grody, all of Seattle, Wash- ington. Matthew 14:14 : Re Robert John Card passed brothers and sisters, Dianne and her husband Eric Benns of Uxbridge, Don and his wife Lin- da of Port Perry, Kathy and her husband Jack Monsma of Port Perry and Ron at home. Rob was predeceased by niece Tina Card and his grandpar- ents Leslie and Irene Card and Charles Geer and Ruby Geer Tripp. Rob will also be missed by his good friends Bob and Susan who were always there for him when he needed them most, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The funeral service was con- ducted from Low & Low in Ux- bridge on Wednesday, July 29 by Rev. Godfrey with interment in Uxbridge Cemetery. Lynda Kendry, Rob's cousin, delivered a very touching eulogy. Pallbearers were cousins Ken and Gord Geer, Bill Kendry and nephews Rick and Mike Benns and Jeff Card. | Flowerbearers were nieces Robin Benns and Linsey Card and nephews Brad and Chris Monsma.
