"A Family Tradition for 126 Years" | oBITUARY A full life comes to a close. A beloved and highly respected citizen, May (nee Jackman) Wil- liams of Oshawa, passed to her reward on Thursday, Aug. 13, 1992, at her home in her 88th year. Born March 23, 1905, daughter of the late Frank and Eleanor Jackman of Bowman- ville. She was predeceased by her husband Nelson, some years ago. May, who was a former resi- dent of Port Perry, led an active life. She was a life member of Honeydale Women's Institute, having served as secretary, president, and later was presid- en of Ontario South District for three years, and moved up as Alternate Provincial Board Di- rector for a three-year period as well. A member of St. John's Presbyterian Church in Port Perry, and sang in the choir. She also sang with The Sweet Adelines. Being very musical she enjoyed playing the piano.
