The team defeated Greenbank 6-3 in the final game. Mark Cleveland and Dan Taylor led the home squad to victory with three hits each. Two hundred youngsters turned up for hockey registration. About 150 more are expected to register before the start of the season. Irvine Construction won the Atom division, Sipco Oil the Squirt division and the Kinsmen won the Mosquito division. The Greenbank Gamblers defeated Claremont 8-4 to even the series at one game each. Green- bank played an error-free game which led to the victory. The Port Perry Star softball squad won the Squirt house league championship.
