Grant Bright won the 50/50 draw. There will be another euchre in two weeks (Nov. 6). Arnold Kerry enjoyed a week away when he travelled up to Longlac for a week of moose hunting. I understand that the moose decided to take their holi- days at the same time when they heard that the hunters were coming. Maybe next time. Irene Fielding spent the past week as a patient in Port Perry hospital. Better health 1s wished for her and also to Mur- ray Geer who spent a few days in Uxbridge Hospital. Visitors with Lorne and Ei- leen Slute were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Singer of Oshawa on Fri- day evening and Mr. and Mrs. Phil Mitchell of Bowmanville on Saturday evening.
