Benefit dance held On Friday evening a success- ful benefit dance was held at the Rec. Centre for Kelly Kimble and family. Kelly was recently widowed in tragic circumstanc- es. This event was planned by Kelly Gatchell and Wendy Hamlin and other neighbors in north Blackstock. On Nov. 21 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. the Caesarea Hall Board will be holding a Christmas Ba- zaar at the hall. On Tuesday evening the nur- sery school held a very success- ST Ue. and bake table at the Rec. Centre with many interest- ing vendors and a great number of browsers and buyers. Mayor Howard Hall welcomed everyone which included mem- bers of the Scouts and Guides groups and various organiza- tions of the township as well as many veterans and members of the Legion No. 419. Scripture was read by Yvonne Christie and Rev. Charles Bull was the speaker. The severe wind storm on Thursday night caused consid- erable minor damage but fortu- nately no major damage in this area to my knowledge. A very frightening night for many peo- ple.
