Church and Sunday School this week will be held in Utica and the Sacrament of The Lord's Supper will be celebrated at this time. There will be a euchre this Friday in Utica Hall starting at 8 p.m. Come on out. Saturday night is the Day Care's Annual Christmas Din- ner and Dance to be held in Uti- ca Hall. Anyone interested in attending, get in touch with the Utica Day Care at 985-8783. Birthday greetings this week to Alaina Burger who will be eight-years-old on the 17th and to Mrs. Irene Fielding who has a birthday on the 19th. I spent a few days this week in Amherstview to help grand- son Taylor Brown celebrate his second birthday. I even took in the Santa Claus parade in King- ston before returning home on Saturday. Lorne and Eileen Slute en- joyed the company of their grandsons Jeffrey and Corey Slute over the weekend. Lorne and Eileen were Sunday supper guests with Mr. and Mrs. Merl Slute in Bowmanville. Best wishes to Travis Mac- Sween who is a patient in Oshawa Hospital and to Hillis Wilbur who entered Port Perry Hospital a week ago. Get well soon fellows we miss seeing both of you in the village. Mrs. Betty Maddison of Co- mox, B.C. recently spent a few days with Gordon and Grace Kirk. The Kirks were in Mid- land on Sunday to visit their sis- ter-in-law Mrs. William Chad- wick who is a patient in hospital there.
