Scugog Lumber ties Manvers 2-2 Scugog Lumber from Atom House League travelled to Man- vers on Feb. 6 to participate in a tournament. Game 1 against Manvers ended in a 2-2 tie. Scoring for the lumbermen were Greg Lansdall and Chris Monsma. Scugog nearly won this game but the Manver's goaltending was outstanding. Game 2 was another close contest with St. Gregory's of Oshawa winning 2-1. Scoring the lone goal for Scugog was Chris Medford. The "Wood Boys" travelled back to Port Perry in the after- noon to defeat Whitby Lion's 6- 4 in a regular season game. It was a full day of hockey and all the boys played well.
