18 - PORT PERRY STAR - Tuesday, March 9, 1993 S.A. Cawker Eagles are soaring high S. A. Cawker Eagles are soar- ing high above the crowd shar- ing their caring and wisdom with all. All students have been working hard throughout the year to show their kindness to the community. Eagles of the Week are rewarded with a spe- cial certificate and a caring Cawker kid pencil for their out- standing jobs. Also the whole school has been learning how to develop their self-esteem through our Social Skills pro- gramme. On Thursday night staff held a parent meeting on peer pres- sure and decision making. The parents learned how to cope with their children and some of the problems they may be hav- ing like: peer pressure, self re- spect and decision making. We hope to develop these important issues further throughout the year.
