According to Durham Region- al Police, Stanley Pugh, 40, was travelling on his 1991 Polaris snowmobile when it broke over the crest of a hill and he lost con- trol. Mr. Pugh died later that eve- ning in Uxbridge Cottage Hos- pital of injuries sustained in the accident . The accident is under investi- gation by Durham Regional Po- ice. Shepherd's .sermon was "The Wilderness Perspective," when Jesus was led by the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. The Sunday School students and teachers treated the con- gregation to a pancake break- fast following the church ser- vice which was much enjoyed by all who attended. Fred Christie accepted a certificate of appreciation from the Port Perry Agricultural Soclety to his wife Ruby for her 35 years of work with the fair board.
