The first period ended in a 2-2 tie. Lindsay Carr and David Halward were the goal scorers for the Leafs. Racking them up for the Canadiens were Ryan O'Leary and Joseph Kozlinsky. Emma Marshall came on strong in the sec- ond period scoring both goals for the Leafs. Intermediate In the last night of Session two the Red Wings were the big winners over the Mighty Ducks. In a determined effort the Red Wings edged the Mighty Ducks 4-3. Scoring for the Mighty Ducks were Eric Bird, Ryan Jansen and Steven Doan. Tyler Mark started things off for the Red Wings with Jason Isaacs and Carlos Connell adding goals two and three. Tyler then finished it off for the Wings by scor- ing the tie-breaking goal. In the second intermediate game the Golden Rods took on the Blue Bombers. The Golden Rods came out on top in a score of 7-5. The Golden Rods took an early lead with Darren Miller, Chris Langford and Greg Langford scoring in the first period. Adam Youmans and Matt MacMaster fired in two singles for the Blue Bombers in the first period. Chris Langford and Greg Langford each scored again in the second period with Chris Murphy adding number six for the Golden Rods. Craig Cannon popped in one for the Blue Bombers in the second period to bring the score to 6-3. Chris Langford earned himself a hat trick with goal number seven for the Golden Rods.
