Yes it's finally here and I'm sure all agree it's a wel- come sight. So nice to see people out walking, kids on bikes, laundry out to dry, birds and yes yard sales! As a safety precaution all children should be reminded of the swollen rivers and creeks and the soft banks along them. Enjoy the outdoors but be safe. Several from the Seagrave community enjoyed the "Music for Music night" as Greenbank United Church on Saturday evening, when the Oshawa O'Neill Senior Chamber Choir =, led by Russell Baird and the Hugh Baird family of Green- COMM bank entertained. Happy birthday wishes go out this week to Samantha Steven- son, Tara-Lynne Puckrin, Mi- chelle Lavereau, Brian Keen, Kelley Manitues, Claude Jo- nah, Brad Hill, George Hill and belated happy birthday to San- dra Wickens. The Greenbank/Seagrave Cubs and Scouts are having a bottle drive on Saturday, April 3 (they will be going door to door). Please try and support the boys in their fundraising ef- forts. The choir sang "Jesus Spoke Of Peace." The Minute for Mis- sion "Not Alone" wag given by Gertrude Wanamaker. Next Sunday is Palm Sunday. The flowers placed in church last Sunday were in memory of Mrs. Gladys Stone, formerly of Seagrave who died last week in Lindsay. The Good Friday Service will be at 8 p.m. at Pinedale Church. The Easter Sunrise Service ar- ranged by the Youth Group, will be at Greenbank nited Church. The U.C.W. will meet on Tuesday, April 6 at the Sea- grave Chure at 8 p.m. The roll call is an item for "Victoria House" in Lindsay. (A piece of womens or childs clothing). That's all for this week.
