Daffodil Luncheon A tasty Daffodil Luncheon » was hosted by Blue Ray Chap- ter members on Friday, April 16 at noon heur, held in the Mason- ic Hall, Port Perry, with a fine number of members from neigh- boring Chapters present as well as local town folk, looking for a break in their busy schedule. The food was delicious, and the price reasonable. We do hope they will have another lunch- eon before too long! A most en- joyable occasion! : Nestleton United Church Although poor weather pre- vailed, a very good attendance for Sunday, April 26 service, 3rd of Easter. Greeters at the door were Ina Davis and family. Rev. Dale Davis conducted the service and opened with the call to worship followed by hymn "Fairest Lord Jesus." Choir an- them was a medley by Shirley, Janice and Kathy with Karen Yellowlees at the organ. The children's theme was in- teresting with a story, before they went to classes. The brief meditation for the adults was entitled, "Who Is That Masked Man?" Scripture from Luke and Acts was read by Chuck Hill. Matthew and Carol Hill gath- ered the offering and the Doxol- ogy was sung, then "The Lord's Prayer" repeated in unison, and service closed with a hymn, Benediction and Three Fold Amen. Caesarea News Regatta News Last Sunday a yard sale meeting was held and Karen McEachern and Ruth- Wardlaw will co-chair the event. Get those excess household and gar- den items gathered up. Chil- dren outgrow their toys and good clean clothing is needed. Please no defective appliances! . On Saturday last a short in- formal meeting was held deal- ing with the gold events. More to come!
