"A Famlly Tradition for 127 Years" PORT PERRY STAR - Tuesday, June 1, 1993 - 15 Epsom students visit the SkyDome On June 3 students will be participating in the Greenbank/ Epsom Literary Guild. Eight Authors from each classroom will share their writings and discuss writing techniques. Geurge Swede, a Canadian Poet will be there to share some of his poems. On June 2 Epsom Alumni will visit Grade 6 and discuss school life at S.A. Cawker. The Epsom Grade 6 will return the visit June 9 when they go to S.A. Cawker to see what life will be like next year. Forty-five adults completed the C.P.R. training course with instructor Rae Miller. They had a wonderful service at Pine Grove Church on Sun- day. It was standing room only. Thank you to Rev. M. Locke of London and the men's chorus from Uxbridge Trinity. Many from Epsom attended. Also many attended the sing- ing service at Goodwood on Sun- day evening. Leanne Munro is enjoying her work in the Corpus Christie Hospital. It is hurricane season and very hot. This week a team from Wales is visiting Uxbridge High School and two of the boys are staying at the Munro home for a few days. Jennifer Asling of Hanover visited her grandparents for the weekend and Stella's brother Bill Ryall of Fenelon Falls visit- ed the Asling home on Sunday evening. The U.C.W. will meet at the home of Eileen Slute on June 8 for a pot luck dinner at noon. Then we will visit the gardens of Marjorie Mason Hogue near Coppins Corners.
