Michigan, to a Big Sing weekend with the American's Male Chorus Assoc. - a super two days of music with 1,000 voices. Bill is a member of the Assoc. and enjoys the Good Singing, Good Fellowship and Public Service that these groups perform. The choruses are arranged in districts in Can- ada and U.S.A. and Bill's chor- us is called Kawartha Male Chorus. Deli- cious dishes of all kinds topped off with birthday cake and good hot coffee or tea. Later, parcels were opened and cards read and admired..all in all a great party! Nestleton Ladies Aid The Ladies Aid was held at the attractive home of Winni- fred Davison in Nestleton, with president Dorothy Lee in the chair. She opened the meeting with a poem and all repeated the Lord's Prayer. Scripture was read by Winnifred and the explanation given. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved and the Treasurer's report given. A donation was re- ceived from Mrs. Wm. Fairley and Mamie Magill. Under new business .. Doro- thy Lee will look after flowers for the planters at the Church. On June 13, Rev. Wm. Fairley will conduct the service at the Union Cemetery, Nestleton, at 2:30 p.m. The Nestleton presby- terian Church will be closed during July and August. The Presbyterian Church Anniver- sary will be held September 19 at 11:00 a.m. Members signed a card for Stan McNeeley, who has been in hospital and is now home and feeling better. The Roll Call.
