Stella Asling accompanied her brother Bill Ryall of Fene- lon Falls to visit her sister Emma of Rindy, Alberta. They were happy to help her cele- brate her 95th birthday. The Epsom-Utica U.C.W. met at the home of Eileen Slute last Tuesday for a Potluck Din- ner. It was most delicious. After lunch, we held a short business meeting. We were supposed to tour the gardens of Marjorie Hogue near Coppins Corners but the rain continued to fall so we sat and cultivated friend- ship instead of flowers. We hope Sandrg Maharaj will soon be feeling well again sitsz visit to Port Perry Hospi- tal. On Friday evening, Floyd and Grace Evans hosted a re- hearsal party in honor of son Murray and his bride Melodie Barron who were married on Saturday at Port Perry Baptist Church. Congratulations and Best Wishes from us all. Barbara and Ross Evans at- tended the old St. James memo- rial service in West Brock. The Bethesda Reach W.I. will hold their picnic July 25 at Bodeways, rain date Aug. 8. The June outing will be Satur- day, June 26. They will be tour- ing a doll factory in Kleinburg, also will pay a visit to a conser- vation area. Several attended the Tour of Homes in Uxbridge last week. The Peddie family met on Sunday for a picnic at the home of Shirley and Paul Baster. Our sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Archie Watson in the loss of her brother recently.
