LAPEL PINS The Port Perry Lions Club are helping promote Festival Days this year by selling beau- tifully crafted Country '93 lapel pins. The metal pins were designed for the Lions and feature a western hat trimmed with gold and gold lettering. They will be available before the festival at a number of loca- tions, or can be purchased from members of the Port Perry Lions Club for $5.00 each. Lions Club officials are hop- ing the pins become popular, and say if they do, next year the color will be changed so the western hat pins can become collector's item. Festival Days - Country '93 takes place in Port Perry July 9, 10, 11 on Queen Street and in Palmer Park. Make plans now to take part in this popu- lar summer festival. According to Durham Region- al Police, thieves gained en- trance to the home on Regional Road 57 during the day on June 18 by prying open the front door.
