It was an afternoon of reminiscing, laughter and fun enjoyed by a good turn-out. Congratulations to all the "Happy Graduates" who passed this last week of school. Re- member when you passed those very important exams, even the ones you passed telling you you were now going into high school! Then they were called "entrance exams". I tried my "entrance exams" in 1930! Greenbank United Church Outdoor Service was held Sun- day, June 27. This year the youth group was responsible for the service. "Togetherness" was the theme. The group "Providence" sang Amaz- ing Grace. Rev. Shepherd talked to us about friendship, caring, learning and together- ness, pointing out how the youth group has contributed to our church life. A big thank you to the youth group members, Joanna Shep- herd, Holly Stone, Amanda Robinson, Jennifer Galberg, Dana Hooker, Julie Lee and Bill Lee for organizing a very enjoy- . able service. It is great to see youth who are interested and involved in church life. Thanks too, to Joanne Olivero. Fred and Iva Phoenix hosted the Baird family picnic on Sun- day when 73 young and old par- ticipated in a bountiful picnic lunch, swimming, canoeing and a jolly good visit. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Gibson are now proud grandparents! A son, Ryan Matthew was born in the London Hospital to Judy's daughter Suzanne Beal and her. husband. A big beautiful 'boy weighing 11 1bs. 9 oz.
