On Sunday, July 26 is the out- door church service to be held on the grounds of Windreach Summer camps well underway Finally! School is out. The Township of Scugog is Slering a complete summer program for you and your children. Summer camps began June 28, while Birdseye Pool is now officially open. The pool offers a complete range of public swim lessons as well as daily swimming Monday through Sunday from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Occasional evening swims will be offered on hot evenings. Check : listings . outside. the building for dates and times. Last week was the first excit- ing week of Creative Arts camp. Events included a trip to the Nonquon as well as the Scugog Shores Museum. Despite the heat wave, each child had a great time. The excitement of Arts camp continues this week as with each child travelling through time. Stops include the Dinosaur age as well as a trip to the future. Each day will be filled with activities and crafts relating to each time period. So if you see any little green mar- tians around town, don't worry. Look forward to .news from Sports and Dance camp in the weeks to follow. * On Friday, July 16 at 1 p.m. at the Port Perry United Church, the township and the Scugog Library will be offering a one day special 'Movie Mania' event. All children are invited to get out of the heat for a while and join the campers in taking in special showing of "Peter Pan."
