"The Toronto Sun story that labelled the Scugog sexual as- sault centre and others as 'Mon- ey pit nightmares', is largely ac- curate but fails to mention that the Board of Directors took im- mediate action and remedied the situation when it came to light," she said in a press re- lease. Ms. Williamson said the for- mer executive director was "ter- minated following the dionsry of financial discrepencies relat- ing to the centre's privately- raised funds."
