C. on July 10 and arrived home 30 days later and. 13 pounds lighter, but with fond memories of a journey he will never forget. The idea to cycle across the country first occurred to Mr. Guindon in 1987. His family was vacationing in B. "I told my parents I was ping to do that someday," Mr. Guin- don recalls. ; Someday became a reality six years later. Mr. Guindon arrived in B.
