Raglan Industries met with Manvers, and were edged out by a 3-1 score. It was 1-0 at the end of the first half for Raglan, thanks to a goal by Evan Pow- ell, assisted by Gabriel Ben- chop. John Dutka made some nice saves to keep the first half scoreless, with help from good defence by Brook MacKenzie and Scott Symes. Manvers came back strong in the second half with two goals by Blair Bazley and one by Brandon Spearing, despite good goal- tending by Scott Symes and Ga- briel Benschop. Haugen's Heroes and Reach Park Motors played to a 3-3 tie. Kevin Robins scored two goals for the Heroes and Alex Nico- loau kicked in a great corner goal. Billy Britt and Michael Jehu each picked up an assist. Kevin Hansen and Scott Honey provided fine goaltending. Ryan Hamelinck, Meghan Smith and Julie-Ann Domik each notched one for Reach Park. Jordan Beelby and Erik Hertzberg made some terrific defensive plays. The consolation winners of the tennis tournament were 'Gil- Darlene Colton Photography handed Tim's Renovations a 3-1 loss, with goals by Justin Shinn, Ryan O'Leary and Mat- thew Kamminga.
