Special music was provided by the choir under the leadership of organist Darryl Linnington. "A Celebration of Life In This Community of Faith" was given by members of the church. Many interesting memories were given by Florance Smith who has been active in this church for 65 years, after com- ing here following her mar- riage. Grant Hunter attended Sunday school and church as a small boy with his parents over seventy years ago, so also had many interesting memories. Terry Hodgins started attend- ing services as a teenager but then drifted away until later when he had married Eileen and they built their home here. Darryl Linnington, a new- comer of three years, expressed his thoughts on how welcome he has been made. It has given him a chance to share his talent of music and he is looking forward to the future of the church and new things to come. The men's quartet sang "Lord, I Want to be a Chris- tian". Lunch was served after the service. Sunday, Oct. 24 will be the Roast Beef Dinner at 4:30 and 6 p.m. For your tickets, call Linda at 985-3143. T.
