The locally-owned business was at Scugog Public Library on Saturday creating books to help the library fund. For every book purchased Create-A-Book donated $5 to the library. Doug and Linda McMillan and family celebrated Linda's brother's 25th wedding anni- versary on Saturday. Congratu- lations to Wayne and France Venning. I hear they had a great time cheering on the Jays. A great turnout for the annu- al Beef Dinner at Prince Albert . United Church. It was a good social time for the servers, espe- cially those who have been away most of the summer. Spe- cial thanks to those who made the pies. I hear Rev. Bob made a "great pumpkin mincemeat pie. At Sunday service, Darryl and the choir provided lively music again. Thank you to all of those who put in the extra ef- fort. Curling has started. A social 8 time was held on Sunday. Looks like a fun-filled schedule.
