"A Family Tradition for 127 Years" Successful cross-country runs Prince Albert runners do well at recent meets Prince Albert Public School cross-country runners compet- ed in three Meets this fall. We were very proud of their accom- plishments. At the Lisa Carlson Memorial Run held on Wednesday, Oct. 13, we had three girls teams place second: the eight, nine, and 10 year olds. In addition the 10 year old boys team won third place. Congratulations should also be extended to individual run- ners who did well. Michelle Wy- ville received a medal for plac- ing third in the 11 year old girls division. At the Durham Central Meet held at Trillium Valley on Oct. 18, our school had three teams who received a second place standing: the eight and nine year old girls and the 10 year old boys. The 11 year old boys placed third, but only the first and second place teams were in- vited to return to compete in tne Durham Finals. Individual run- ners who performed well are as follows: Jackie Pashley and Darcia Fis received a third and sixth place respectively on the eight year old girls team. Kelly Coates achieved a second place standing in the nine year old girls and Michelle Wyville placed seventh in the 11 year old girls class. Dan Plumpton and Tom Greenough placed fifth and sixth respectively in the 10 year old boys and Mat- thew Collins placed eighth in the 11 year old boys. All were in- vited to participate in the Dur- ham Finals on Oct. 26 at Trilli- um Valley where Jackie Pashley won third place, Kelly Coates placed seventh and Mi- chelle Wyville 13th in their divi- sions.
